For years the release of a new perfume by the biggest brands has always been a big affair. Extravagant launches, high profile advertising campaigns using the most famous actor or model of the moment. A designer perfume is a luxury that breathes class and elegance. However, these values are quickly being high jacked by fraudsters who make copies of these precious fragrances in secret factories in China. These are then sold on the black market for a fraction of the price. This investigation seeks to find the people behind this mass fraud which costs the big brands millions each year. How similar are these copies, and could they even contain harmful substances?
